City Day, founded and launched in August 2022, was held as TOPCC's first community outreach experience since the 2020 pandemic.  City Day was the kickstart event to our annual back-to-school bash.  The heart of City Day was to reconnect with the community and provide a great experience to each attendee who graced our presence.  

Our goal was to serve our community and create an inviting atmosphere, and we're happy to have accomplished that!  So much so, we were blessed by a surprise visit from our local news station, WLTX-19.
City Day is hosted and founded by Tabernacle of Praise Church Columbia (TOPCC). City Day is free, faith-based, and open to the general public in the local community of Columbia, SC.  

At City Day, there are free giveaways, food trucks, games, prizes, music, and more! This is a family-friendly event open to the community of Columbia.

We're excited to bring City Day back in 2026—bigger and better than ever!

TOP Church Columbia is honored to partner with the City of Columbia's Martin Luther King, Jr. Park to provide a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly event for our community. We look forward to meeting new faces, connecting with our neighbors, and creating a day filled with fun, fellowship, and community spirit.

TOPCC participated in its first Christmas parade in downtown Columbia at the Carolina Carillon, December 2022! What better way to spread holiday cheer than to participate in your local city's Christmas parade?! From meeting new faces among the heavy crowds of onlookers, to walking the downtown streets of Columbia waving, smiling, passing out candy and invite cards, and praising God- we had an Awwwesome time!  Check us out here to see for yourself that TOPCC was represented in the city.
