How it all started...
Tabernacle of Praise International Ministries Incorporated was bestowed to the late Rev. Dr. Roy C. Jeffcoat, former pastor of St. Luke Baptist Church in Winnsboro, SC, through a vision given by God in 1998. His vision was to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world, build and restore discipleship, and plant churches guided by the Holy Spirit as mandated. As a result, his vision flourished through national crusades, local and regional outreach initiatives, annual convocations, and spiritual training for pastors, church and community leaders.
In 2006, Tabernacle of Praise was birthed and located in Irmo, SC. The church relocated to the heart of Columbia, SC in 2017, where we currently reside. Now recognized as Tabernacle of Praise Church Columbia (TOPCC), is one of four active churches under the International Ministries Incorporation; located in Seaford, Delaware; Kipkenyo, Kenya; and Kiwanja, Kenya. Since its inception, TOPCC has been under the amazing leadership of Pastor Dwayne Jeffcoat, who also now serves as Overseer of TOP International Ministries, Inc. following the untimely death of his predecessor and late father, Rev. Dr. Roy C. Jeffcoat, in 2012.
TOPCC starts fresh each year and continues to write its history the way God intends it. Though small in number, we are a proud, loving, and cohesive church family who can attest to God's provisions, grace, and favor. As we love the Savior, love the Scripture, and love to serve; we remain committed to our vision of changing the world one soul at a time.

Expanding the vision...
Since entering such unprecedented times with the global pandemic, TOPCC, like many others, were forced to make swift changes. Worshipping in physical locations were once banned; still are- for some. Though our mission of changing the world one soul at a time remains, our vision for ministry and the way we do ministry continues to evolve. Our vision has expanded to meet God's people where they are on digital platforms. We want to cultivate community through outreach, prayer, invitation to worship with us, and introduce Jesus to as many people we can reach.
The path we're headed...
As a continued growing ministry, we are ambitious and committed to this assignment through outreach and evangelism.
Like the parable in the New Testament of The Lost Sheep, TOPCC is redefining our path of seeking the lost and making disciples. Through Pastor Jeffcoat's teaching with a sermon titled, "The Sheep. The Coins. The Son." from Luke 15.
