Our Global Legacy: Nairobi, Kenya
The late Overseer, Dr. Roy C. Jeffcoat, was given a vision and assignment by the Holy Spirit to plant churches. After planting churches on the east coast of the United States, he traveled abroad and planted a Tabernacle of Praise church in Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa in 2009. Under his leadership, he bestowed pastorship to Pastor Patrick Muigai, who served as pastor until 2025.
Tabernacle of Praise International Ministries, Inc. continues to provide spiritual guidance, mentorship, and support to our TOP Kenya church family. In 2021, Tabernacle of Praise International Ministries, Inc. entirely sponsored its first international student to attend high school in East Africa. We are proud of the students and are grateful for their continued perseverance to strive for excellence and make a difference in their communities abroad. We pray for additional resources to provide to those in need.
In years past, our ministry was honored to build a special connection with a beautiful church community in Nairobi, Kenya. Through shared teaching, spiritual support, and cross-cultural fellowship, this international relationship enriched our global perspective and deepened our commitment to missions abroad.
The faithful work in Kenya stands as a testament to the impact that Spirit-led collaboration can have across borders. We remain grateful for that chapter in our church's journey and continue to embrace opportunities to serve, support, and uplift ministries around the world as part of our ongoing call to the Great Commision.
